Sathya Sai Baba has inspired millions all around the world to lead a spiritual life based on five human values of Truth, Right Conduct, Love, Peace and Non-violence. He himself is a prime example of how one should lead a life of simplicity and use our resources for the benefit of others.

He has commissioned many service projects for the poor and needy which offer free education, health care and drinking water to the remote areas in India. He often says that “My life is my message”. Sathya Sai Baba does not preach any new religion or philosophy. He says -

“I have come not to disturb or destroy any faith, but to confirm each in his own faith – so that Christian becomes a better Christian, the Muslim, a better Muslim, and the Hindu, a better Hindu. ”

“I have come to light the lamp of love in your hearts, to see that it shines day by day with added luster.”

“Love is God. God is love. Live in love. ”

“All are expressions of the same God, as bulbs lit by the same current through manifold colours and wattage.”
